Some of you that have been following my Instagram profile may not know that a few years back I started this small watch brand. After a mild success early on in 2014/15, I determined that I was unable to commit as much time to my project as I’d liked, months went by and I found that other works and other commitments were filling the bulk of my days and weekends.
During that short hiatus, I thought about how I could restructure the brand and the way I do things. That was until recently when I decided to stop mulling things over and instead start doing things again. For many, the lockdown has proven to be pretty tricky to navigate both emotionally and physically, but I thought, Hey! I’ve been given a bit extra time here that I wouldn’t otherwise have. No travel distractions, limited places to go at the weekends and no shops open to buy random stuff I don’t need. For the past few months, I’ve been able to use my weekends to design a new timepiece, update the brand, create a new website, work on new packaging and collaborate with local suppliers. I’m excited to say that I’m currently liaising with a UK engineering firm to put some of the new parts into production. So while there are still a lot of things to do, and I’m spinning a lot of plates at the moment please do watch this space for more updates!
