The Model
The Porte is one of our newest “Expedition Ready” timepieces, an off-the-shelf, ready-to-wear tool watch.
Available here in Land colour way the Porte offers a contemporary take on the traditional diver style watches. The vivid palette has been inspired by seaplanes of the 1900s, pioneered by aviation engineer John Porte, the Felixstowe aircraft often featured bright patterned “dazzle” camouflage alongside their more minimalist military livery.
A bright dial with luminous markers and hands makes the watch face practical and legible in various light conditions, whilst the contrasting lume pip on the etched ceramic bezel makes it easy to read. An unadorned screw-down case back and crown add to the practicality of this amphibious timepiece with a secure 100m of water resistance.
The all-stainless steel case houses a rugged Japanese-built Miyota 21 jewel automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve and Parashock protection.
Design, Manufacturing, and Assembly.
Our timepieces are assembled in small batches in limited runs. Our Expedition Ready models such as this are partly assembled with factory partners (in HK) and to varying extents finished by Everwrist here in the UK.
These models, along with their marketing and packaging materials have been designed in the U.K.

- Ship only within the U.K with an aim to reduce our own carbon impact.
Disclaimer
Our components are manufactured to a high standard and our “Expedition Ready” timepieces are assembled en masse. We strive to offer the highest possible quality control within reason, due to the hands-on nature of our assembly process, some timepieces may feature minor defects and differences when it comes to the application of paint, minor tooling marks or dust from manufacturing, meaning that each piece is slightly different from the last.
**Please note that this is a mechanical timepiece and as such the movement can gain or lose time over the duration of its lifetime and wear. Miyota states that this calibre has an accuracy rating of -20 ~ +40 seconds per day.
This movement also features what is called a “ghost date” which refers to a date function without the date window, when adjusting the time, please make sure you unscrew the crown and pull the stem all the way to its final notch.
